Questions

What is a 13F filing?

A quarterly holdings report. Every three months, any investment manager overseeing $100 million or more in US-listed stocks must send the SEC a list of the stocks and options it held on the last day of the quarter. It has 45 days to file, so the list is often weeks old when it arrives. It leaves out short positions, cash, ordinary bonds, anything listed only abroad, anything private, and anything bought and sold inside the quarter. Each fund page on Tickertail shows the latest list a manager filed, with the date it describes and the date it was filed.

⚠️ Public information, sourced from SEC 13F filings. Quarter-end positions, filed up to 45 days later; the held-on and filed dates are shown with every number. Long positions in US-listed stocks only: options are counted separately and never added into a total. Not financial advice.
